OT : Brief aside to Peter :- feeling "quite old now, nearly 40 years old" I am feeling quite a bit older because I can remember when audio equipment had valves in it ! :-( Brief aside to Jim :-"(Foot is an old English measurement that we Americans can't seem to give up) <G>" and I'm an old (see above) Englishman that thinks cgs and SI units are all very well in the lab. but that miles, yards,feet and inches etc. shouldn't be given up for everyday use, even on this side of the pond ; my daughter thinks I'm nuts !
