Unfortunately I can't help you on your question, pinning down ATRAC version numbers to specific IC chips is notoriously error prone (since Sony never specifies the ATRAC generation in their portables). I have added your chip number to the table however. In looking at the table I notice I have the same part number down for the MDS-JE520 and MDS-JA20ES units (CXD-2654R)! Somehow I copied down a number wrong (or they really DO have the same part) and the equipment tables have this error too. I would be deeply indebted to any JA20ES owner who can positively identify the part number of their unit's ATRAC chip. By positively I mean by either opening it up or looking in the service manual.
