Well, I want to hook it up to my Sun unix box and just to set it up to
format it as raw scsi device I need:
number of alternate cylinders
number of logical cylinders
number of logical heads
number of logical sectors per track
number of physical cylinders
drive RPM
and
bytes per track
the partition information would be useful as well, but I figure I
can probably fudge my way through that a bit easier than finding
the above stuff :-)
if anybody out there is using an mdd drive on a sun workstation
I'd appreciate any information you've got...
oh, and I picked mine up for $125(usd) not counting the shipping.
if nothing else it's a nice piece of md history...
