Hehe, I had exactly the same dilemma when I was getting a replacement
for my 701. In the end I decided on the 722. Why?
* Like the look of the 722 ;)
* Two words - JOG WHEEL!!!!! ;) - 722
* Remote control display - 722
* Thye MT15 is a tray load (that is lift up try, insert, close), 722
is slot in. If your unit is going to have a "rough" life then slot in
is better.
* 40 secs anti on 722 ;) does make a difference if your walking with
it in your pocket (ie, in my jeans (I walk quite fast ;)).
* Optical cable included... ;) - 722
* MT15 takes AA's (IIRC), 722 takes Sharps own battery type (chewing
gum size, I had a spare ;) But 722 *comes* with an AA adapter ;).
* I got a "hippy" hand strap with my 722 ;) Cool ;)
* A computer control interface can be made for the 7XX series.
Hey for $30 extra with rebate, it feels a whole lot better.
Up to you, but I would say go with the 722 ;).
