I am currently shopping for my first minidisc player. I want to get a portable
player/recorder so I can do everything right away and then get a deck for my stereo
system eventually. Does anybody have any suggestions? I don't want to spend more
than $250. I have looked seriously at the Sony MZ-R50 (237 through web) and the
MZ-R55 (auction). I like that the MZ-R37 uses normal AA batteries, but the display is
very small. Sharp seems like the only other company that is selling lots of these
things - is their 702 a nice unit? Any info you guys could provide would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks!
