MD: Off topic: mp3 editing tools?

Hi!

Does anyone know if there are tools to edit mp3s in the mpeg domain,
without the conversion mp3->wav->mp3?

I could use a tool that cuts single mpeg frames from songs to remove
clicks or long intros from songs...
