Is it possible for a computer to interfere with an analog line =
connection? I have my line (with stereo minijacks on both ends) =
connected to the line out of my computer and the line in of my R70 to =
record from my computer to MD. I've done this with no prob. several =
times. But today I was trying to do the same exact thing but it was =
being recorded horribly. I had headphones plugged into the recorder so =
I could listen while it recorded and it was really weird... The voices =
(lyrics) of the songs were barely hearable... the other parts of the =
audio sounded okay but the voice was very quiet and it also sounded a =
little garbled. I tried everything I could think of to figure out what =
the problem was... and then finally I shifted the analog line a little =
and the audio fixed itself. I had the line running along the ground =
right next to the tower case of my pc (IBM). I don't think there were =
any kinks or even bends in the line, but when I moved it, the recording =
is fine. =20
Mostly out of curiousity, anyone have any idea why or how this would =
happen?
