I don't think I've seen that information on the mailing list so I give
it to you :
Real Player (more specifically Real Jukebox) has now a Add-on that
allows it to use Atrac3 to compress the audio files.
reference ZDnet (only in French, sorry... but I'm sur we can find it in
English.)

the Add-on is not available immediately after download. You must first
have real jukebox 8 and after update it.
imagine the futur world :
encoding (6x at least) plus CDDB
upload to minidisc
et voila
(OK, OK, we're not there yet but if sony would make a walkman using MD
instead of Memory Stick and with the same functionnalities, that could
make the big thing that is missing to MD world)
