And the first one -- to use it as an address book -- is outright foolish.
The title area can hold only 1785 characters, so you can't put all that much
there except maybe your reminders for the current day and the next day or
two; it can hardly store one's entire address and telephone directory unless
one has very few friends, few business contacts, and almost no relatives.
Moreover, if you are displaying it on a portable where to view track titles
you have to keep pressing FF or REW until you get to the track you want, it
can be very wearisome to use. Better to use pencil and paper for that appli-
cation.
