Just saw the announcement of the Hitachi on www.minidisc.org. If you go read
the FAQ on the Hitachi web site, you come across a couple interesting items:
the PC interface is USB, not Firewire. Check out all the limitations in the
"PC and Software" section. So much for USB's Plug'n'Play capability. Bletch.
Too bad, it sounds like a really cool still camera...
