The MZ-R70 is supplied with a NiCd cell and has a built-in charger. I have the following questions: 1) When the charge cycle is initiated by pressing "Stop", does the internal charger first discharge the battery completely before charging so that the NiCd does not exhhibit the "memory effect" problem? 2) Will the internal charger recharge NiMH cells?
