if you have usb the DG-2 works well and I believe that they fixed the track mark
problem w/ non sony MD-R's. The sound quality from any USB audio device should be
about as perfect as possible since the conversion happens at the device and the device
in this case only converts from USB format to S/PDIF format, pure digital quality in
this case.
just my .02USD as i have done no actual scientific testing.
