So, wondering what to do, I take my = JE320, take it apart, remove it’s disc assembly unit, plug it up to the = 510 (because the 510 and the 320 were SUPPOSED to be the same unit) and it = wouldn’t work. So, upon further examination, I noticed my 510’s mainboard was marked “MDS-JE500” and = my 320 was marked “MDS-JE510”. Ok, so I’m dealing with, in = reality, are two totally different units. So, I looked at the boards on the bottom of = the disc assembly. Not only are the main ATRAC chips different, the 320 had = an additional chip next to the main chip. I expected the main <span = class=3DSpellE>cpu difference because the 320 has a nice 5 second time record buffer, = whereas the 510 has 2 (I was hoping I’d get 5 like my 320) But, I don’t = think that would make that much difference.
