Di Windows terkini (W10, W2K16 keatas) Windows Defender Firewall dan Windows
Defender antivirus dan antimalware wajib diaktifkan agar fungsi Windows
Update bisa berjalan.
Dengan demikian perlu dilakukan perubahan setting di Windows Defender
Firewall dan Windows Defender Antivirus/Antimalware agar MDaemon
berjalan lancar.
Pada prinsipnya windows defender diaktifkan untuk menjaga Windows
Operating System dari virus, serangan (DDOS attack) dan malware.
Tidak diperlukan menjaga aplikasi tcp/ip yang sudah dirancang mampu
menanganinya sendiri.
Boleh/bisa saja di Windows defender ini digantikan dengan aplikasi
sejenis, misalkan Antivirus for file, tetapi prinsipnya sama y.i Exclude
Aplikasi MDaemon dan folder dimana terinstall MDaemon.
Untuk Windows Defender Firewall

karena sudah otomatis masuk dalam Firewall Inbound/Outbound Rule untuk
public network.
