Tidak Sabar untuk Segera Masuk Surga

On the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: A man,
said to the Prophet (may peace be upon him) during the battle of Uhud,
"Tell me where I shall be if I am killed." When he (may peace be upon him)
replied that he would be in Paradise, the man threw away some dates which
he had in his hand and fought until he was killed. (Reported by al--
Bukhari and Muslim)
Dari Jabir ra. berkata bahwa seseorang bertanya kepada Rasulullah SAW pada
saat perang Uhud, "Tahukah Anda, bila aku terbunuh (dalam perang ini), di
manakah tempatku?." Beliau SAW menjawab, "Di surga." Maka orang itu
membuang beberapa kurma yang ada di tangannya kemudian berperang dan
terbunuh." (HR Muttafaqun 'alaihi)
Fawaid
1. Betapa besar balasan buat orang yang meninggal dalam perang suci membela
agama Allah SWT, yaitu sudah dipastikan masuk surga dengan jaminan penuh
dari Rasulllah SAW.
2. Para shahabat di masa lalu tidak pernah sabar untuk mendapatkan surga,
bahkan sekedar untuk menghabiskan beberapa butir kurma di tangannya
dianggap terlalu lama untuk segera bisa berjumpa dengan Allah SWT.
3. Mereka sangat yakin bahwa surga ada di balik kilatan pedang dan mati
dalam rangka jihad adalah mati yang paling indah. Setiap orang tidak akan
pernah bisa lari dari kematian, karena itu pilihlah cara mati yang paling
indah.
