I created on my workstation a svn repos whe I can 'diff' and 'merge' recent releases
with my modifications.
Using svnadmin and svn tools was estonishingly easier than I though.
Of course it would be nice to access a common svn web repos but meanwhile
i think we can stll provide patches and help with a local svn repos on our machines.

I can confirm that at least on Win32, I sent recently a patch that greatly enhance perf./reliability on this platform. I think it is currently analysed by the team, that like probably all of us, has also other tasks to achieve than updating portmidi ;-)

I would also tend to agree that a memset() clearing the buffer would be nice especially as
we know that on win32 allocs are not zero-filled by default like in Unix systems.
