Thanks for your input. I made the changes and will commit them to
SVN after I fix a few other things.
On another topic, while trying to get PortMidi integrated with Audacity,
I found some C problems when Audacity turned on some "strict" checks I
haven't been using. I don't think there are "real" bugs, but there are
some code changes such as declaring Pt_Stop() as Pt_Stop(void), which is
preferred in C.
