Try adding __NOEDITSECTION__ and transclusion: <http://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=parse&text=__NOEDITSECTION__%10{{:New%20York}}&title=New%20York> It may now work properly with stuff that uses <noinclude>/<includeonly>.
