Adding on top of what said we are move to a world where we have an API that you can query to get article sections.
Then you can decided how you'd like to expose the collapse/expand functionality. This is better for everyone as it allows you to choose wether you want buttons, arrows, etc. You get to choose whats best for your project. --tomasz On Mon, May 7, 2012 at 5:50 AM, Max Semenik <maxsem.w...@gmail.com> wrote: > On 06.05.2012, 13:02 Asher wrote: > >> Hi All, >> I am using url like >> http://en.wikipedia.org//w/api.php?action=parse&format=json&page=New_York_City&prop=text&mobileformat=html > >> I am getting the full content of the mobile page without the buttons: >> History,Geography,Demographics etc... >> Is it possible to get the full mobile content with the section buttons? >> Thanks >> Asher Szmulewicz > > On the contrary, we would like to get rid of those buttons completely > to make this feature JS-only, and the only thing preventing us from it > is backwards compatibility with earlier releases of the Wikipedia App. > Adding an option to return these buttons with API would be unhelpful > in achieving this goal. > > -- > Best regards, > Max Semenik ([[User:MaxSem]]) > > > _______________________________________________ > Mediawiki-api mailing list > Mediawiki-api@lists.wikimedia.org > https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/mediawiki-api _______________________________________________ Mediawiki-api mailing list Mediawiki-api@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/mediawiki-api
