It's a well known enhancement request that you can follow/vote on bugzilla: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35489 If you want it to be solved, you need to ask resources to be assigned (presumably in WMF Platform/Core team) to fixing the core bug https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9360 .
