Hi Laurent, first your English is not poor. I can't even find a single
grammatical error, LOL.

I find that many a times, it is very hard for me to open my files or save my
edits and I get this download index.php box popping up instead. I spend a
lot of time on my website and I quite often face accessibility problems.
And at Link Referral, I receive some complaints about my site taking a long
time to view. So I wrote to Siteground and they say that this is because I
am using a shared server and recommended me to upgrade to VPS that cost
US$99 per month.

When I first joined Siteground, the service was superb. Accessibility was
just pressing one key and the response is instantaneous. After about a year
with them, they changed my server (the Ford Model T server must have been
reserved for loyal customers, I guess) and after that, I have been having
endless problems. During the change of server, my database was corrupted.
They asked me to start my website all over again but when I said I was
giving up my hosting, the website miraculously went up. I asked them what
happened but they refused to give me an answer.

Look at this guy from Siteground:
http://forum.siteground.com/showthread.php?t=3627 Actually, my problem is
same as his. And there are many negatives reviews about Siteground that
tally with my experience lately and confirm my suspicions. At first, I did
not dare to voice out since their services had been very good all along. I
can't help but think that they are just pulling a fast one. Who doesn't want
to earn more money but creating problems so that you are forced to upgrade
is another kettle of fish altogether. Hate to say this, but since you ask, I
tell you from my heart.
