That seems to have done the trick. The documentation on that page is 
pretty sparse and doesn't mention anything except "using Batik to render 
SVG graphics on some systems" so I don't think I ever would have found 
it without your help. Thanks. I've added a sentence to the documentation 
which might make it show up in searches.

I didn't see the /thumb/ in that path, which is what threw me. I was 
thinking that was the path to the main image. I saw what I expected 
rather than what was there. Thanks for pointing it out.

And once again, thank you very much for solving my problem. It's much 
appreciated.
