Release notes say "MediaWiki 1.39 is a pre-release testing branch, and is not
recommended for use in production." Is that correct? I thought "general
release" and "pre-release" were distinct. I've downloaded this update on 1 Dec.
and again on 2 Dec. just to verify that I wasn't imagining things. I'm hesitant
to proceed until this is clarified. Thanks for any clarity anyone might
