Public bug reported: Hi guys.
I've been running Ubuntu for some time now, and I usually perform a clean install everytime. This time however, following installation of Maverick, I tried to add medibuntu as on these instructions: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu And, following the first command, I get terminal output as follows: W: GPG error: http://packages.medibuntu.org maverick Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 2EBC26B60C5A2783 W: Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/maverick-security/Release.gpg Something wicked happened resolving 'security.ubuntu.com:http' (-5 - No address associated with hostname) E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead. This is causing issues with my downloading medibuntu packages. Can anyone help? ** Affects: medibuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: key pubkey public -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Medibuntu Packaging Team, which is the registrant for Medibuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/711615 Title: NO_PUBKEY 2EBC26B60C5A2783 _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~medibuntu-maintainers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~medibuntu-maintainers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
