need to keep for old documentation. we drop the CDS down a line and assign to an non patient care area like accounting.
--------------------------------------------------------- Good Morning,
I will tell you what I have found to work the best since we archive our NUR information also. When I need to make a change to a CDS, I make a copy of the original CDS in MIS. I then make what changes that need to be made to the new CDS. If you need to make any changes to queries (other than adding to the group response) you must build a new query. Once I am done with the CDS in the intervention dictionary I attach the old CDS to the IS location so that it is still available if they would need to print the intervention of view it. I then attach the new CDS to all of the nursing locations. If you are using the CDS in a patient profile you need to keep both the old and the new available in the profile because they have to be able to get to both at the time of printing. There isn't a need to renumber the intervention. Hope this helps.
