We have setup up
some users as pilot MOX users having their MOX email auto-forwarded to their
Outlook or some other Internet-based email address....overall, it works pretty
well. However, we have some identified a few issues - if you have done this, you
may have addressed these and/or have identified some other issues as well.
Anyway, here are the two biggest issues I've seen thus far:
(1) If the email was
sent from MOX, using a MOX distribution group, those members of the MOX
distribution group are not all listed as recipients of the email when viewed in
MOX - if you need to reply to all, you have to have a matched distribution group
in Outlook or you have to manually select all required recipients from the
Global Address Book - this can be an annoyance, but overall not a huge issue in
my opinion. If anyone has been able to address this in other ways, please let me
know.
(2) This is the
biggest issue in my opinion, but maybe there is a solution that I have yet to
find....we have MOX users who receive some MEDITECH reports, direct deposit
slips, etc. via their MOX email. Some output, like direct deposit slips, are not
very wide and display in MOX and Outlook just fine. However, some management
reports - like LDRs, Department Expense Reports, etc. are very wide - up to 132
columns. By scrolling left and right, you can read these reports in MOX okay -
when you print them from MOX, they also format correctly on the printed output.
However, in Outlook the wrap on the screen and are pretty much useless - they
also appear wrapped when printed from Outlook as well. I have spent a little
time playing with Outlook display settings to no success so far - has anyone
else identified this issue? More importantly, has anyone been able to resolve
it? If yes, I would greatly appreciate hearing your
solution.
Thanks!
