We are getting Nursing in May and we had a demo yesterday so they can make a project plan. Currently, each therapist prints their schedule and I added a barcode to it for the demo yesterday so I could show them how to add their patients the easiest way. I think the therapists will manage their own lists and the Nursing supervisors will manage the nurses lists. I submitted MIX request4405913 for more integration between scheduling and Nursing, but they said it was part of a future project plan (nur proposal 4901). The proposal mentions nothing about what I requested for an enhancement. The status board needs to be more user friendly for the outpatient side. I suggested that the resource should be a field in the nurse dictionary and if filled in, it should populate the statusboard based on appointments. Also it would be nice if you could display the appointment time and sort by it. I do have a script for our dialysis unit to script names into the handheld list from scheduled appointments but don't want to go down that road with all. Thanks for any help. pat -----Original Message----- From: Mary Rozenboom [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, March 15, 2006 10:51 AM To: Tara Mcnamara; Meditech L Subject: RE: [MEDITECH-L] NUR: Outpatient statusboards All messages should be posted in plain text. The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== Tara, On our Rehab Status Board I put: Patient Name (of course), Acct Number, DOB, SOC Date, Date of Onset, Date of Surgery, Primary Diagnosis, Recertification Date, Number of Visits Insurance Allow (Insurance Allows), Physician, Allergies, Phone Number of Patient. Do pole your therapists for what they need to refer to quickly, these do need to be built into an Initial Assessment or Treatment Plan so they can be pulled into the Status Board. The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== Hi All, Can you send me examples of your outpatient statusboards for the therapies? Also, if you got custom or thought of something unique to help there workflow can you share that with me? I put barcodes on their printed schedules so they can scan the patients onto their list, but I am really hoping to do something with the flowsheet or creative ideas so that they will accept Meditech. I am demoing to the outpatient managers tomorrow.
