Are the new L/T messages for the same internal Order number or creating
a new order number?

Subject: CS 5.5 SR2 update and PACS- anyone having HL7 message problems?

Hello- we recently went live with the CS 5.5 SR 2 upgrade in late May.
Since the upgrade, we are experiencing problems with our GE PACS
worklists, related to HL7 messaging. Exams will drop off of the worklist
and then promptly come back onto the worklist. At midnight, the list
clears for the day and we start all over.
In the outbox for PACS Orders, it appears that after a HL7
message for the Status change to Taken (in the ORC segments), a second
message is generating with NW (new order) and taken in the ORC segments.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so, how did you resolve
it? Meditech put in new code into our system today to suppress the
additional message but it is only helping about half of the messages.
The other half are still generating the additional HL7 message with the
NW/T ORC segments, causing some of the exams to repopulate on the
worklist. When we check messaging from the broker in PACS, everything
seems to be working normally.
Anyone have this occur or have suggestions as to how to fix?

Thanks in advance!
