Charlotte,
@drug.id is a wierd field. It is defaulted by Meditech to be
@generic's.name_" "[EMAIL PROTECTED] If your @drug.id field matches the
default, using @drug.id in a report will get you nothing, as you've
found out. If, however, you use @generic.id, you'll get what you're
looking for, even though it's not really a field you can see in the drug
dictionary. Go figure...

Attached is a quick and dirty @drug.id versus @generic.id report. In
the report, @drug.id and @generic.id are truncated, but you'll see what
I mean if you upload and run it.

Hope this helps.
Alan

I have an npr report pulling in the barcodes for the drugs in Pharmacy.
 My
problem is I am not able to get the field drug.id to come in.
The report is Magic in the DPM PHA.DRUG, sort is by mnemonic, but the
drug.id field is empty. I even tried writing an expression
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and it still will not pull in the field. Any
ideas??
I got the npr from the Meditech NPR Archives for BMV so that our
pharmacist
could start scanning in the meds once we go live with 5.5.
Thanks,
