Hey Gary-
They all do AWP updates and Dose Range checking.mostly equal. For me, the
stand out comes when you get to the order string "integration" with FDB for
inpatient and outpatient CPOE, and then the next level is their new
OrderView product. And since you are starting out "from scratch", you've
got the ability to explore the "Version 2" Allergy release without
conversions.

First DataBank.

Best of luck - Kevin.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] FDB or MediSpan?

Calling all PHA L-ers, what are the pros & cons of using the formulary from
First DataBank or MediSpan, in conjunction with the PHA module? We go live
with PHA in 2007, and need to make a formulary decision, so all anecdotes
and feedback on those two products are appreciated.

We have also looked at UltiMedex (from Thomson Micromedex), but it's in
third place right now. Still, any thoughts on that product would also be
most helpful.

Thanks for your insight!
