Hi Again! My question is regarding getting patients admitted from the ED. What is your admission process? We have physicians who use POM but they have to wait until the patient is admitted to write the admission orders - especially medication orders. Do you have a quick and easy admission routine? Presently, we send an OE order to admitting and they admit the patient within 10 minutes or so. This seems like an eternity to a physician who wants to admit a patient immediately. If you have a better process, please share your secrets!
