We are currently in the process of implementing EDM, and are attempting to leverage the tracker to indicate when a specimen needs to be collected. We have tried using treatment and results indicators to make staff aware of when a specimen needs to be collected, but have been unsuccessful in making it work because of the variation in workflow related to the different times when a specimen could be collected.
