We are C/S 5.4 sr2. We built an intervention called "Licensed Review of Documentation" for our Therapists with Temp licenses and our student therapist/assistants. We then attached a Protocol that out lines the fact that if they click on this intevention, they have reviewed the "unlicensed" or "students" documentation for the entire day. We have a challenge. The Physical, Occupational and Speech therapists need to be able to co-sign an assessment or intervention for the Assistants in the department. The therapists say that a document stating a 2nd therapist approves and agrees with the 1st therapist's documentation for Patient A on this date will not be sufficient. The 2nd signature has to be integral to the original assessment or intervention. The only way I can think to do this is to let them edit each other's documentation. So far the standard in our organization is that no one edits another user's on-line documentation. Has anyone out there found a way to do this in NUR? Any help is appreciated. We are Magic 5.5 SR2.
