We are 5.5.1 Magic, live with POM at one facility that esigns orders. Currently, we have unsigned orders at our other facility that does not esign! We are having Meditech manually remove them from the unsigned orders index. We have realized, however, that the Unsigned Orders List in OE is run from one index, and Meditech has a different index they run!! You have to make sure they not only remove the orders from the OE routine index, but also from their index. They are also trying to find out why the 2 indexes are different. If it helps, we have dealt with unsigned reports for the circumstance you describe. We have a script that automatically esigns the report(s) for these physicians with a disclaimer. For example: "The electronic signature encoded electronically is to clean the system and move the record from DRAFT to ESIGN status. The report may be imcomplete.
