Kevin:

It looks like the field @PHA.RX.pnur.rx

Will default the correct med name into the query of the med you
currently attempting to document on in EMAR.

I added 2 queries to a test screen and this is the result for the drug
LIPITOR 20 MG TAB (That is the correct med I am currently trying to full
document on in EMAR):

QUERY TEXT                      DEFAULTED VALUE

DEFAULT CURRENT MED: LIPITOR 20 MG TAB

ATTRIBUTE TO DEFAULT THE ABOVE MED NAME TO A COMMENT TYPE QUERY ON AN
PHA/NUR TYPE SCREEN:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------

[EMAIL PROTECTED] did not work....

I have not tested this in the scan med routine, only the Full document
routine.

Kevin:

In this scenario is the nurse using the Scan Med or Full Document
option?

If full document, the field for the med they are on might be:

fd.med

------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------

 BFI1=fd.med^XX,[EMAIL PROTECTED] Q+1^Q}

 [EMAIL PROTECTED]>3
@Win.pos(13,0,@Z.down.arrow);@Win.pos(13,0,@Z.space)}^#

 [EMAIL PROTECTED]<LQ
@Win.pos(11,0,@Z.up.arrow);@Win.pos(11,0,@Z.space)}^#

 BFI4=""^Q^LQ,[EMAIL PROTECTED]@.old.ext,@Display(fd.med,*,@.old),D(13)^#

 IFE=IF{/FIRST.MED
""^/FIRST.MED;'c.exit&(@Root(@medications.temp.x)>3^LQ)}

 KEY1=IF{/.REQ @Z.exit;@Z.no.op.key}

------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------

I will have to try this default of [EMAIL PROTECTED] to see if that works or
not? I will let you know.

Could also be @pnur.rx

------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

Or

@pnur.rx.id

------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------

@pnur.sel

Or

@pnur.link

------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------

FULL.DOCUMENT

@GET.SELECTED.RXS,

1^pnur.sel,

[EMAIL PROTECTED],

[EMAIL PROTECTED]/urn [EMAIL PROTECTED] @INITIALIZE.LINKS},

                         "FD"^/.PHA.LINK.FLAG,

                         @SETUP.LINK,

                         @pnur.sel.bottle.type^bottle.type,

                         @pnur.sel.doc.q^pnur.q^/pnur.q,

                         @HANDLE.ORDER,

                         @PROCESS.LINKS,

I think it will be

@pnur.rx

Or

 @pnur.rx.id

Hey Bill-

I'd like to put a drug name in a CDS in eMAR when the nurse documents -
possible? It would be the med from the current order being documented
on...

Hope all is well - Kevin.

Place a comment type query on the order proc cds, make it the first
query on the screen. Dft the user id and if it does not start with ADM,
reject and force the user to exit the screen.

This query is on a PHA CAT screen and only users with PHA can access
this query:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]'="PHA" "";1}

[EMAIL PROTECTED]'="PHA" "";1}

----------------------------------------------------

STOP IF USER ID STARTS WITH NP

[EMAIL PROTECTED]'="NP" "";1

----------------------------------------------------

SKIP QUERY IF USER IS NOT A MAINTANENCE STAFF

[EMAIL PROTECTED]'="MNT" "";1}

OR NOT NP.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]'="NP" "";1}

-----------------------------------------------------

This is based on nurse type:

IFE=IF{&[EMAIL PROTECTED]|1'="IV" 1,

[EMAIL PROTECTED](" Available only for IV Therapist's! "),@Z.exit^/Z,""}

---------------------------------------------------

Default user id

[EMAIL PROTECTED]@.user <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]@.user> ]

-------------------------------------------------

Restricting query to being answered only select users

IFE=(@.user="USER1")!(@.user="USER2")

This atribute will only allow USER1 and USER2 to access the query

-------------------------------------------------

Hey Mike-

This is something I use in PHA rules to look at the first three
characters of PHA Users - as a Keyword:

@[EMAIL PROTECTED]:3T

Best of luck - Kevin.

Hello all,

I am trying to write and order rule that will allow only users with a
specific mnemonic to enter said order. Such as, ADM.XXX...I only want
those folks with ADM as the beginning of their mnemonic to be able to
enter the order COP.

any ideas?

thanks,

Mike
