Physicians Office EMR systems don't have to accept an HL7 feed to be successfully interfaced. They may also be able to accept ANSI X12, XML or even a proprietary format. While it is highly desirable that they accept a standard such as HL7 it is not imperative.
I am sure Interbit Data's Integration Wizard is a fine product but if they only do HL7 I would look at others also. I am using an Open Source engine called Mirth which works with SQL, XML, HL7, X12, fixed length and several other formats and is free of charge. It is not for inexperienced programmers but I am only trying to emphasize that you will want to find something that is very versatile. >>> On 6/28/2007 at 12:28:16 pm, in message <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, "Oscar Beninati" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello Janet & L'ers > > A solution to sending information to a physicians office EMR is not cut and > dry.
