Greetings MeeGo community, As many know I've had� few "irons in the MeeGo fire" for a while, mostly oriented around community identity, process and support.� I have enjoyed everything I've been doing.
Over the past few months though it has become increasingly difficult to do much of anything outside my paying job.� In a nutshell, the workload is increasing dramatically at the same time we are losing critical employees.� I won't go into much detail in this email but suffice to say that calling the work situation here "unpleasant" may be the understatement of the year for me. I had already ramped down some MeeGo (and other activities) but it looks like I will have to pull back even more.� I am narrowing my focus for now to the community device program and to presentations for upcoming events... but if my job situation continues as it has, that may have to change as well. I have not been able to do much for a while on Meegons and I apologize for that.� Lack of time combined wth eyestrain from my job has made it difficult.� Even typing this is a chore.� But I will try to get out what I can, and others are always welcome to create them as well. Anyway I am still hoping to find employment somewhere with a somewhat saner work environment.� I had two prospects with Nokia Siemens Networks but one has inexplicably been withdrawn.� Still hoping the other turns into something.� Regardless I need to change my job situation not just for the sake of MeeGo community involvement bu for my general health and happiness also.
