BUG DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS
===========================================================

Installing skype on MeeGo 1.2 netbook is easy, but requires a workaround.

In http://lists.meego.com/pipermail/meego-community/2011-February/003567.html
auke-jan.h.kok at intel.com requested "Please file a bugzilla on this issue.
Thanks. It should be trivial to resolve this issue and we can include
it to default QA testing.".

"--nodeps" was needed to work around a failed dependency -- even
though the dependency is already provided by MeeGo which contains the
needed libs.
error: Failed dependencies:
    qt4-x11 >= 4.2 is needed by skype-2.1.0.81-fc10.i586

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM:
(Explain in detail what you do (e.g. tap on OK) and what you see (e.g. message
Connection Failed appears))
===========================================================
1. wget http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-linux-beta-fc10
2. mv getskype-linux-beta-fc10 getskype-linux-beta-fc10.rpm
3. sudo rpm -ivh getskype-linux-beta-fc10.rpm
4. complains "qt4-x11 >= 4.2 is needed by skype-2.1.0.81-fc10.i586"
5. skype RPM doesn't install without --nodeps flag.

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
===================

Installs, and skype works.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
===================

Doesn't install unless you know about '--nodeps' and are willing to face the
consequences.

USER IMPACT:
===================

Inability to communicate via skype, even though it actually works fine.

REPRODUCIBILITY:
(always, less than 1/10, 5/10, 9/10)
=====================================

Always

EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED:
============================

None

OTHER COMMENTS:
===================

Much like with the Flash Plugin, (
https://bugs.meego.com/show_bug.cgi?id=10894#c4 ), Skype should be avaible from
a menu of post-installation software that can be downloaded by the end-user.
Perhaps this could be done out of "firstboot" after network connection is
established and any post-install repository updates&security-errata are done.
