There's nothing that is commercial-only. In an interesting turn of events, the
ActiveX module was previously commercial-only and is now licensed BSD (not
even LGPL).

There are also parts of Qt that are LGPL only (namely, the JavaScript engine
and the WebKit engine).

The choice of commercial is offered to those who do not want or cannot use the
LGPL or GPL licenses. Believe me, there are companies that won't touch LGPL,
so they'd rather pay. But neither LGPL nor GPL are "no strings attached"
licenses -- even the LGPL imposes some constraints on what you can or cannot
do, so the commercial license is offered to those who want other terms.

If you want more information, consult a lawyer on the subject of the LGPL.
