It just hangs, for >30 minutes. I am running natively on a host installation,
not a VM.
I did download and put the kernel file under <sources>/tmp which the script
identified and created the master and orig files as well.
But it still just hangs. I do have gcc and libncurses.

It would be nice if there is a wiki, or if someone can point out instructions
about how to do so on Meego. Currently I am just stuck at
./scripts/sequence-path.sh
Perhaps I will file a bug tomorrow.

Thanks,
Adhyas

How long it takes can differ on your machine. Is there any output at
all or it just hangs after the command? Make sure you have
"linux-2.6.33.tar.bz2" available in the top level of your git cloned
directory. Also, make sure you're running the commands in your git
cloned directory.

If you're talking about x86, you should only need gcc (etc. - should
be available in your distro's repos) and if you're playing with
menuconfig for config files you'll need libncurses5-dev. I'm not sure
how x86 kernel installation works, so hopefully someone else can
comment on that.
