Hi Chengwei, Xephyr relies on the chroot Xlibs, I am now upgrading Xephyr and making it working with Xorg 1.9.0.
Maybe you could use an older image (with Xorg 1.8.0) and then update the libraries you need to the latest and do not update Xlibs.
