Yes it will and it should, instead of uboot use multiboot. See how nitroid[1] does it, follow a similar way, and instead of the nitdroid kernel use the meego kernel. You will need to make an .item file for multiboot (use the current ones as template). You also need to add the kernel commandline to the multiboot option.
