NOTE: This is an RFC as I have no clue yet on which component to put a feature
request in for additional platform support :(
As part of a line of low cost development platforms, Texas Instruments's
latest platform PandaBoard is based on dual ARM-cortex A9 OMAP4 platform.
This is to enable PandaBoard support for kernel-dev project, as part of
community enablement for MeeGo on this platform.
Bootloader for this platform on Meego:
X-loader:
http://download.meego.com/live/home:/nm:/bootloader:/ti:/x-loader/x-loader/
U-Boot:
http://download.meego.com/live/home:/nm:/bootloader:/u-boot/u-boot-omap4panda/
Feature request: http://bugs.meego.com/show_bug.cgi?id=9723
The highlights of the platform are:
* 1080p video playback over HDMI or DVI
* On board TI's Wilink 1271 providing Bluetooth+Wlan functionality
* Beagleboard compatible expansion port - display(over LCD exapansion header),
audio, i2c etc...
* USB EHCI/OHCI, OTG and onboard ethernet capability
* RS232/UART, JTAG
* 1GB RAM (POP memory)
* standard MMC card slot - boots off MMC card :)
* Platform supported in kernel.org - community supported
I have one request...
can you filter out the config options from your config file that are
already set in config-generic ?
(hint: the config-diff.pl script can do this for you ;-)
our objective is to have all the configs except config-generic to be as
small as possible....
