Just tested git quiltimport on the latest kernel-mid from devel:kernel

There is an error on the 4th patch 
"linux-2.6.36-PM-Runtime-Lenient-generic-runtime-pm-callbacks.patch" (patch 
does not apply)

git-rpmimport managed to apply the series of patches.
