Hi Following are series of 6 patches for HDMI audio driver. This driver is for the HDMI audio controller. HDMI audio driver is an ALSA driver, which enables the multichannel Playback.
This driver interacts with the display driver to program the HDMI audio subsystem in the HDMI controller, receives hot plug/unplug events and DMA completion interrupts. We have incorporated most of the review comments provided by ALSA community. For compilation, this driver is dependent on platform display driver patches which are yet to be submitted to MeeGo tree. Display driver team will be submitting the dependent patches. Please help in reviewing the code and merge. Below are the details of patches: Patch 1/6 : Header file patch Patch 2/6 : Display driver interfaces implementation Patch 3/6 : iec958 interfaces implementation Patch 4/6 : ALSA API implementation Patch 5/6 : hardware register programming Patch 6/6 : config file changes.
