I saw problems with the NAND code only - I added the extra checks
around SST as a safety precaution, but not in response to any
error I observed.

Should we spend time fixing the spectra driver considering it
is in staging and we are not using it right now?  PMU driver
seems to handle moving from D3 to D0 fine on other devices.
