I want meep to output the amplitude of the complex time-average magnetic
field over the computation domain, as an h5 file.

This was sort-of discussed here in this post:

but I'm not looking for for the instantaneous magnetic field. I'm also
not interested in the time-average flux or energy, which I could with
flux-in-box or field-energy-in-box.

integrate-field-function lets me integrate of space, but not time. I
think a sloppy way to do what I want is to tell meep to output the
instantaneous magnetic field at every step over a period, then
post-process all the output with matlab, but it would be much nicer if I
could ask meep to do the accumulation itself.

Any suggestions?

Best,
Matt
