Hi everybody, I'm very very confused about how to specify correctly the parameters for my dispersive material. My unit is a=1e-2m and the data about my material is (before any conversion for Meep):
epsilon_inf = 6.75 omega_n = 1e12 gamma = -1.01e13 delta-epsilon = sigma (for newer versions) = 47.91 I need to convert the above stuff to the Meep parameters: epsilon omega gamma delta-epsilon. I'll tell you what I did and hopefully you'll help me to understand where I' wrong: epsilon = epsilon_inf = 6.75 delta-epsilon = sigma= 47.91 then: omega_n <- omega_n /c*a /(2*pi) = 5.30 gamma <- gamma/c*a/(2*pi) = -53.63 Where am I doing wrong?
