Dear meep users, I read the units and nonlinearity in meep wiki pages but I am a bit confused.
I want to get delta_n=0.03. Therefore, following parameters are used in the ctl file.(my lattice constant a=1um) n2=10E-6 and related kerr parameter is chi(3)=7.053x10E-6 n=2.3 (linear index) When I monitor the power , S average is S=0.03x 10E6 so effective change in refractive index is calculated as delta_n=n2xS=0.03 So, what is the units of power and chi(3) or n2.
