Dear Users, I am simulating gold nanosphere dimer as an example. I want to calculate the Figure of Merit. The figure of merit is commonly defined as the resonance shift upon a change in the refractive index of the surrounding dielectric normalized by the resonance line width. Can anybody explain, what is the meaning of this? and then what should be the exact formula of FoM? Thanks, Best regards,Cecil
